December Frosts

It’s been exceptionally cold here in the Lake District over the past few days, and while most of the rest of the UK has seen some snow, here on the coast I’ve only glimpsed the white peaks of the mountains further inland. I think the effect of the sea means we only get a few small flurries, but a big part of me is still hoping for some proper snow before Christmas arrives. Until then, I’m enjoying the frosty mornings, especially when the car is covered in these pretty patterns and designs like the one in the photo above – there is something magical about frost!

Linking up with Sue for (Almost) Wordless Wednesday.

Hope you’re all well and enjoying the week and staying festive!

It’s been so cold here (really, really cold) but it means we’ve had the most beautiful frost this week here (as you’ve seen) – I don’t really understand why so many people hate winter so much, it has a lot going for it! We just need more snow 😉
