Wildflower meadows come to life during the springtime, but as the grass grows and we move into summer they take on a charm all of their own as many of the flowers begin to die off and the grasses take over. While I adore visiting these types of fields when they’re in full bloom, my favourite time to go for a walk along a wildflower meadow is during the height of summer. You’re greeted by swathes of lush, long grasses that whisper in the wind as the breeze moves them, and the last few pops of colour from the remaining wildflowers just adds to the beauty. This particular field is on a route I often pass through and I can’t resist getting some photos during this time of year!

Hope you’re all doing well!
