One Ocean, Two Sunsets

DSCN2804 DSCN2499

As you all may know by now, I love the seaside and I love a good sunset. So when the two are combined, I’m a happy Tasha. The two photos I’m sharing for today’s (Almost) Wordless Wednesday (because I always struggle to keep these wordless – sorry Sue!) are from the same destination, along the West Coast of the Lake District, but at two different times – both during sunset.

The first was one of those glimmering, glittery, early evening sunsets when the sun is just starting to make its descent. It created these lovely, sparkly waves you can see in the first photo. The second was much later in the evening, around 9:30pm I believe, when those deeper blues of the ocean really come out to play. The sun was looking all golden as it finished setting, and it shimmered off of the surface of the sea. I just loved the difference between the two, and since summer is just around the corner, I thought they were appropriate for today’s post.

Linking up with Sue for (Almost) Wordless Wednesday.

Hope you’re all having a good week!
