A Sea of White & Gold

This past week the spring flowers have put on a show with colourful blooms of white and yellow, set against the green carpet of grass in the garden. Daisies are one of my Mum’s favourite flowers, and they’ve long been a favourite of mine too. There’s just something uplifting about them, and the addition of the golden yellow dandelions, only brings more sunny colour to the garden. It’s a welcome sight, and while the lilac tree still has’t blossomed yet, it’s only a matter of time!

So of course I had to go outside, soak up some of that warm midday sunshine and take some photos of the gorgeous blooms now dotting the garden, and it was an afternoon well spent. I won’t write much more here, as I think these photos speak for themselves; lots of sunny, floral goodness in white and gold, and a very welcome sight that’s been making me smile these past few days.

That’s exactly what I always think of when I see daisies too Kezzie! They’re just the epitome of spring and summer! Thank you for the lovely comments, always.
