A Sky On Fire

Sometimes there are moments where you want to freeze time and stay in it forever. This sunset is just one of many of those. There was barely a breeze in the air, the sun was goold, the wind turbines in the distance looked like giant pinwheels silhouetted against the sky, the sea in the distance was as still as anything and the clouds were catching the light beautifully. This sunset was a beautiful end to what had been a busy week when I got this photo, and I was thankful for the view!

Linking up with Sue for (Almost) Wordless Wednesday.

Hope all of you are having a good week so far!

Thank you Louise! I am very lucky with the views here, it’s a lovely thing to be able to see from the windows! You’d love the views along St Bees up here and I bet you could get some amazing photos!

A completely beautiful sunset – I rarely seem to catch such burning sunsets, though have many lovey memories of them from travels πŸ™‚
