Glistening Raindrops

I took these photos back on the morning of The Big Garden Birdwatch after I’d completed my count. The sun was shining beautifully and I didn’t want to pass up the opportunity to get some nice photos of the garden before the sunshine disappeared, and I was pleasantly surprised to find these delicate raindrops dangling from the washing line, which glowed as the sun rose behind them. With that beautiful, clear blue sky in the background, you could have easily mistaken these for being taken early last summer! A beautiful way to end the birdwatch, and I’m hoping those skies return come summer.

Linking up with Sue for (Almost) Wordless Wednesday today.

Hope you’re all well and having a good week so far!

Thank you so much Danielle, that means a lot. ❀ Ah no, I hope you get to get outdoors more soon! I've been in for most of this week so I need to get back out, so don't worry, it's happened to me this week too!

Ah, isn’t it refreshing to finally see some sunshine and blue skies? This is a lovely image Tasha – the occasional burst of sunshine lately has also set my mind on warmer days ahead πŸ™‚
